Ron Wolfe

  • BS degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee. Ron dubs it "The Harvard of the South"
  • Local radio disc jockey-nighttime rock 'n roll show when he was a teenager. Made money to send self through college
  • 1968 - Entered the booming furniture manufacturing industry in Morristown. Privileged to learn from CEO's Seymour Gerson, Harry Gluck, Percy Munroe, Art Pais and Carter Fox
  • Worked in areas of sales, collections, customer service and traffic management. Last 30 years spent in Human Resources.
  • Upon exit from furniture industry Ron was vice president of Universal Furniture, Ltd. North American Region
  • Dubbed by several local Human Resources professionals as "The Dean of HR" in the Lakeway area
  • Member, Board, and President and Chairman of the Board of American Furniture Manufacturer's Human Resource Division, High Point, NC Board member two years, Vice Chairman, and President/Chairman of the Board Morristown Hamblen Healthcare Systems, Morristown, TN Also in Morristown - board member, United Way, Boys and Girls Club, American Red Cross, Lakeway Center for the Handicapped, Lakeway Human Resources Management Association, and too many others to mention.

  • General Manager of full service hotel, 11 years - Ramada Inn and Conference Center, Morristown, TN, Renovated entire property and converted to Holiday Inn Conference Center at the East Tennessee Progress Center
